The land of the pharaohs is primarily known for its wonderful archaeological history, its impressive pyramids, and the rolling sandy dunes of the desert. However, what you may not have realized is that there is also a great deal of fun that can be had through scuba diving in Egypt. Those of you who have never traveled to this part of the world before may not know that the Red Sea is the perfect place to scuba dive as it allows you access to a variety of different forms of sea life that you may not have experienced, with beautiful coral, millions of fish, fantastic visibility, sheltered reefs, towers, pinnacles, walls, coral gardens and wrecks, the Red Sea is truly a world class scuba diving destination.

When you go to your scuba diving adventure in Red Sea, you should know that there a three main areas where you can successfully dive. all of these have been set up to be main diving locations and they also have many shops where you can purchase or rent diving gear so that you can be sure to get exactly what you need before you venture out in the water. The first is the more heavily populated Sinai Peninsula Sharm el Sheikh (Ras Mohamed) and Dahab.

The second is a smaller village which usually caters to the more adventurous divers Northeastern Red Sea Coast (Hurghada) it combines the Red Sea’s delights (including spectacular reefs and wrecks), and the third which is Southeastern Red Sea Coast (Marsa Alam), which is one of the best and Top Diving Sites all over the world, it have amazing coral reefs and colorful water of the Red Sea. Since these areas are very tourist heavy and are considered to be holiday resort areas, you will not have to worry too much about falling into some kind of trap or scheme. There are another areas begin to be shown in the Diving map sometimes called the Egyptian Riviera, the coastal area runs from the Israeli border at Taba around the Sinai Peninsula through Sharm el Sheik to the Suez and south along Egypt’s eastern coast to the border with Sudan.
